Bat Rehabilitation Resources
Bats are very sensitive species that need specialized care if they are injured, sick, or orphaned. Bats are a rabies vector species, and though less than 1% of bats carry rabies, you should never touch a bat with bare hands. They are wild animals and can bite.
If you have found a bat that needs help, please call one of the licensed wildlife rehabilitation centers below, and visit our Found A Bat page to learn how to safely contain or move a bat.
