Union Bay Natural Area Bat Walk

  • UW Home Center for Urban Horticulture 3501 Northeast 41st Street Seattle, WA, 98105 United States (map)

We are teaming up with the University of Washington Botanical Gardens and Woodland Park Zoo at the Union Bay Natural Area to learn about Washington's amazing bat species, and take part in Woodland Park Zoo's new community science program, Bat Activity Trends! Bats are a common wildlife species across Washington state, including urban areas, but their nocturnal habits mean that people often don’t notice them. Taking the time to learn how to observe bats can change that!

The night begins with a lecture and then end with bat observation. The program is $10 and advance registration is required.
